Ecofesta Transport
EcoFesta provides a reimbursement to those who apply as Drivers.
The compensation varies depending on the type of vehicle used and the distance traveled.
How the calculation works
- The average fuel cost per kilometer is taken into account (as shown in the table below).
- It is multiplied by the total kilometers (round trip).
- The total is divided by 2 (split between the driver and a minimum of one passenger).
- Each passenger pays the driver the calculated amount to contribute to fuel and vehicle wear and tear.
EcoFesta retains a 16% commission on the total amount.

Let’s go through a practical example:
- Trip: Lecce → Melpignano (round trip ~ 60 km)
- Vehicle: Petrol (0.15 €/km)
- Fuel cost: 60 km × €0.15 = €9.00
- Split: €9.00 ÷ 2 = €4.50
- EcoFesta commission (16%): + €0.72
- Cost per passenger: €5.22
- Reimbursement to the driver: €4.50 per passenger
This way, the driver receives a fair reimbursement, while passengers save compared to traveling alone, all while contributing together to sustainable mobility!
